This doesn't really deserve a subject line
Jul. 5th, 2007 12:10 amSo, I’ve been trying to clean my room again. It’s not terribly disgusting, though there is quite a lot to sort through. I have what’s called scholar’s mess. It’s what happens when you put two pieces of paper together and they breed. First you have a few loose sheets, and then there’s a small stack. It starts mutating and random National Geographics appear and before you know it you’ve got a full-blown mess on your hands that just keeps growing. This may also have something to do with my pathological inability to actually pick up what I’ve dumped on the floor. I have decided that it is improper for me to consider myself an adult until I can actually pick up after myself. I mean, I could do it in Montessori, why not now?
In any case, I wasted a lot of time reading through old stuff. I found a lot of things from school courses that I’d all but forgotten I’d taken. Nothing reminds you of history class quite like plopping down in the middle of dusty papers that once made up a presentation on “What went wrong on Rapa Nui (With added information on how to be a Cannibal)”. Good times good times.
